During the EUGMS Congress held on September 20-22, 2017, in Nice, France, the EUROSAF Study presented the results and the state of the art of the first year of cooperation. In the heart of the city of Nice, one of the nicest city of the French Riviera, EUROSAF participating centers, under the coordination of Dr. Alberto Pilotto (EO Galliera, Genova, IT), monitored the recruitment process in each of the 28 centers and welcomed on board 3 new centers (from Spain, Turkey and Portugal). The EUROSAF symposium was perfectly in line with the EUGMS congress theme: "Developing Preventive actions in Geriatric": multidimensional tools able to bring together geriatricians, scientists, public health experts and policy-makers around specific ageing related diseases.
